Shaun Antonino is the Day shift Communications Sergeant. Sergeant Antonino has served the City of Bristol since 2003 and has prior law enforcement experience totaling 23 years. Throughout his career, Sergeant Antonino has worked on Patrol, Community Policing, Narcotics, Criminal Investigations, and Training. He has been a member of the Special Operations SWAT Team for 10 years. Sergeant Antonino was promoted in May 2014 and assigned to the Communications Division.
Virginia Smelser is the Communications Manager for the City of Bristol, Tennessee and serves as the 911 Director. Mrs. Smelser has over 35 years of public safety experience and has been with the City of Bristol since 1994. She is committed to ensuring the safety and well being of our citizens. Mrs. Smelser is a nationally recognized Public Safety Leader and one of the first three in the State of Tennessee. Mrs. Smelser has also received recognition as a certified Emergency Number Professional though the National Emergency Number Association. She serves on various National, State and Local committees. Mrs. Smelser is a licensed Tennessee paramedic, certified National EMD and Communications Instructor. In 2012, she became a member of the Tennessee Emergency Communications Board of Operations Committee. She regularly meets with other 911 professionals across the state to look at operational issues and protocols. In January 2013, she was inducted in the Tennessee 911 Hall of Honor.
Daniel Graham is the Night Shift Communications Sergeant. Sergeant Graham has served the City of Bristol since 2002 and has prior law enforcement experience totaling over 17 years. Throughout his career Sergeant Graham has been assigned to Patrol, Street Crimes Unit, and assisted with training. He has been a member of the Special Operations SWAT Team for over 10 years and has served as an Assist Team Leader. Sergeant Graham was promoted in September 2014 and assigned to the Communications Division.
