At Steele Creek Park there are 8 picnic shelters available for rentals. We also have the Lodge and the Amphitheater available for rentals. We have the Lodge broken down into three parts; The Lodge, The Party Room and The Conference Room. For reservations call 423-764-4023. Due to the amount of activities in the park, each rental must have a signed rental agreement on file in our offices. Please print an agreement, read it thoroughly, sign and return to our offices within the time requirements stated in the agreement.
The hours on the rentals are:
9:00am - 9:00pm = Whole Day
9:00am - 2:30pm = Half Day
3:30pm - 9:00pm = Half Day

Rotary Shelter - Enter through the main gate,to the left at the top of the first ridge
Rate: 1/2 Day = $35.00 Whole Day = $60.00
Capacity: 125 Tables: 8 - 8ft Electricity and Water 38" Grill
Civitan Shelter - Enter through the main gate, drive by the lake and continue until you begin to leave the lake area. The road to the shelter is on your left and goes up a steep hill.
Rate: 1/2 Day = $30.00 Whole Day = $50.00
Capacity: 44, 28 plus 4 chairs/wheelchairs at each table under the shelter, plus 12 at tables outside of shelter

VFW Shelter - Enter through the main gate, drive by the lake, and the shelter is just past the playground. Parking area is at the playground.

Shelter A - Enter through the main gate, to the left at the top of the first ridge. Shelter A is on the right as you enter the parking area.

Capacity: 40 Tables: 2 - 18 ft Electricity and Water 20" Grill
Shelter B - Enter through the main gate, Shelter B is on the playground. Parking area is in front of the shelter, with handicapped parking.

Capacity: 45 Tables: 2 - 12 ft Electricity and Water 20" Grill
Shelter C - Enter through the main gate, drive by the lake, shelter is 2nd shelter past the playground, along the train tracks. Users are encouraged to use the parking area near the VFW shelter.

Capacity: 36 Tables: 3 - 12ft Electricity and Water 24" Grill
Shelter D - Enter through the main gate, drive along the lake. As you are leaving the lake area, pass the wooden bridge on the right, the parking area is the next right, and the shelter is down over the hill. There are handicap parking spaces down the hill beside the shelter.

Shelter F - Enter through the park's main gate, drive by the lake and continue through the park. The shelter is located across the bridge next to the creek.

Capacity: 16 Tables: 1 - 12ft, 1 - 6ft 20" Grill
Shelter G - Enter through the main gate, drive along the lake and continue throught the park. Shelter G is just past the large parking area.

Amphitheater/Pavilion - Enter through the main gate. The Amphitheater is on the right along the lake between the Lodge and Shelter B.

Lodge - Enter through the main gate, over the first ridge. The Lodge is on the right just past where the road bears left.

Inside Capacity: Seating for 50, more chairs available upon request for fee
Outside Capacity: 50 Tables: 5 - 8 foot
Kitchen - We also have a kitchen that is available for rental with the Lodge.

Party Room - The Party Room is a smaller room inside the Lodge building. It is on the side closest to the playground and Shelter B.

Conference Room - The Conference Room is another smaller room in the Lodge building. Typically used for meetings, but is also available for other uses.
