To Apply for a Business License - There will be a  $15 fee for the first license. You may pick up an application in Room 203 in the Municipal Building located at 801 Anderson St.  When application
 is completed the license will be issued at that time. For more information phone 989-5543.

 



Pet Licenses - All cats and dogs living within the Bristol, TN city limits must have a current pet registration.
  Bring a valid rabies receipt to 2nd floor  of the Bristol TN Municipal Building (801 Anderson Street, Suite 203) to receive a
  license. No Fees are required for pet licenses.  The license is free of charge.  For more information phone 423-989-5542. 

 


Yard Sale - All residents and civic groups must be permitted to have yard, garage, attic, junk, estate sales, etc. Each
individual/group or location is permitted 3 sales a year. The first permit is FREE and each additional sale permit is $3.00.
Yard sale permits may be obtained in 2nd floor of the Bristol TN Municipal Building (801 Anderson Street). For more

Electrician's Cards - To perform electrical work within the Bristol, TN city limits, you must have a valid Electrician's
Card. The card must be renewed annually for a fee of $10. For more information phone 989-5543.



Commercial Sanitation - To sign up for Garbage Collection for Businesses and Apartments phone 989-5510.



Traffic Tickets and Violations - Municipal Court traffic fines may be mailed to 801 Anderson Street, Bristol, TN 37620
or paid in person 2nd floor of the Bristol TN Municipal Building. Inquiries may be made by phone (423)989-5563.



To Connect Utility Services - To apply for water, sanitary sewer, and/or trash service, please come to our office on the
 second floor of the Bristol, TN Municipal Building (801 Anderson Street, Suite 203).  You will need to bring proof of
residency (i.e. lease agreement, purchase agreement, etc), a photo ID, and social security card.  You will be required to
pay a connection fee of $30 or $40 depending on the location of service.  A deposit may also be required, as determined

To Disconnect Utility Services - To disconnect utility services, you may either mail a signed letter or come to 2nd floor
 of the Bristol, TN Municipal Building to sign a disconnect work-order. For more information phone 989-5664.


 

 For Easy Payment of Utility Bills - The City of Bristol, Tennessee offers customers the option of drafting the customer's
 bank account for water/sewer bill payments. There are many advantages in using this service. Bills are paid on the due date.
 You don't have to write or mail a check. So, you may save postage and bank fees. But, best of all, your utility bills are paid
effortlessly on the due date. For more information phone 989-5542.

 Questions other than BILLING - If you have questions other than billing concerns, please contact the Department of
Utility Services at 989-5513 .
