Public Services

 The Public Services Division is responsible for the maintenance of City streets and the associated storm sewer system; for maintenance, service and repair of City vehicles and equipment; for operation of the public transit system; and for operation of the solid waste collection services including the demolition landfill.  The Division consists of the Street Maintenance, Solid Waste, Fleet Maintenance and Transit Sections.  The Division has approximately 61 full-time employees dedicated to providing the highest quality services at the lowest possible cost.
