Officials from the City of Bristol, Tennessee and the Junior League of Bristol funded a new splash pad at Steele Creek Park.
We're always glad to be able to offer something new and unique for our community to enjoy, and the splash pad is unlike anything we've ever had in Bristol,
said Terry Napier, Director of the Bristol, Tennessee Parks and Recreation Department. Not only did the Junior League spark that idea, but their efforts are what ultimately made this project possible,
he added.
Families are invited to enjoy the splash pad from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., 7 days a week. The splash pad is a "zero-depth" recreation area and has little or no standing water, so no lifeguards or attendants will be present. There is no charge to use the splash pad other than the $2 park entry fee.
