Steele Creek Nature Center

Welcome to the Steele Creek Park Nature Center!

The Steele Creek Park Nature Center is a 2 story (2,600 square foot) educational facility which showcases the natural history and beauty of Steele Creek Park!  Inside you will find live animals and educational displays about the natural world inside Steele Creek Park.

We offer guided hikes and educational public programs year-round.

We also offer specialized programming to non-profit groups (schools, churches, scouts, home-school co-ops, etc.) free of charge!  We can create or enhance almost any science curriculum for your group!

The wood structure was built by park maintenance staff using materials from the park.
Located around the Center is a wildflower garden and bird viewing area.

Admission to the Nature Center is free with park admission
