The Steele Creek Park Nature Center is a 2 story, 5,000 square foot
educational facility which showcases the natural history and beauty of the
Southern Appalachians! Inside you will find live animals and educational
displays about the natural world inside Steele Creek Park.
We offer guided hikes and educational public programs year-round.
We also offer specialized programming to non-profit groups (schools,
churches, scouts, home-school co-ops, etc.) free of charge! We can create
or enhance almost any science curriculum for your group!
Located around the Center is also a wildflower garden and bird viewing area.
Admission to the Nature Center is free with park admission.
