Slater Park is a small community park encompassing .66 acres located at 128 East State Street. The park was developed in 1996. This park is a popular outdoor basketball facility in the spring and summer. The court was sealed and repainted several years ago for an Eagle Scout project. The sealer and paint have worn and needs re-doing.
This park consists of two 45 by 66-foot. asphalt basketball courts and a regulation horseshoe pit.
