[ARCHIVED] Tom Petty tribute band to play Downtown Center

Free Fallin is the nation’s favorite traveling Tom Petty tribute band and they will be appearing in Bristol on Thursday, July 9 at 7 p.m. in the Downtown Center at 810 State Street as part of the Full Moon Jam concert series. In the event of rain the show will move to the Paramount Center located at 510 State Street. There is no charge for the show.
“Free Fallin presents its show with the power and passion that went into over 30 years of Tom Petty’s best-selling songs, from Damn the Torpedoes through the latest including hits from the Traveling Wilburys, “ said Darlene Cole, Assistant Director of the Department of Community Relations. “ They have the instrumentation to duplicate the sound of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, as well as the convincing looks and costumes, giving you an outstanding live show experience.”
The group has successfully toured the country for eight years playing before thousands of fans at festivals, fairs and corporate events.
It’s Free. It’s Fun. It’s under the stars! Experience the fresh air and the live music at this great outdoor family event. Bring a lawn chair, enjoy a locally made hotdog and a cool drink and soak in a great evening in historic downtown Bristol.
