[ARCHIVED] Farmers Market Appreciation Breakfast Postponed

The State Street Farmers Market is postponing their annual Customer Appreciation Breakfast that had been set for Saturday, October 3 to Saturday, October 10, 2015 due to impending inclement weather.
Each year the market serves breakfast with the works including homemade biscuits and coffee. “We want all our customers, who come out every week to know just how much we appreciate them. This year the weather is expected to not cooperate and we sure don’t want to serve soggy biscuits,” laughed Mike Musick, Recreation Superintendent with the City’s Parks and Recreation Department.
The event will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 10, 2015. “Breakfast will be served for as long as it lasts. We hope everyone who has visited us this year will come out and get their seasonal vegetables, baked goods, and crafts,” continued Musick.
The market is open through the last Saturday in October, opening at 8 a.m. and is located in historic downtown Bristol at 810 State Street.
For more information contact Musick at [email protected] or call 423-764-4023.
