[ARCHIVED] City invites citizens to share photos on new Instagram account

The City of Bristol has a new Instagram account and everyone is invited to help celebrate. If you are not familiar with Instagram it is an online mobile photo-sharing, video-sharing and social networking service that enables its users to take pictures and videos, and share them on a variety of social networking platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Flickr. “We want you to share your photos you take around Bristol with us on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook with the hashtag #lovebristol,” said Angie Rutherford, the city’s social media specialist.
Each month, a favorite picture will be chosen and featured on the #lovebristol photo album, social media pages, BTN-TV and the City Voice, the city’s community e-newsletter. Every month a new theme will be chosen, so staying true to our #lovebristol campaign and because fall is here, the theme for October is-- Fall into Bristol. Show us what you love about Bristol.
