[ARCHIVED] City Observes Thanksgiving Holiday

Bristol Tennessee City offices will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday Thursday, November 26 and Friday, November 27, 2015.

Other changes in services are listed below:

? Transit bus fixed route services and the Para Transit service will not operate on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26 or on Friday, November 27, 2015, but will resume the normal schedule on Monday, November 30, 2015.

? Job Access service will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26 but will operate on a normal schedule on Friday, November 27 and Saturday November 28.

? Garbage collection scheduled for Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26 will be picked up on Wednesday, November 25, 2015. Friday’s regularly scheduled pick up will see no changes.

? Leaf collection will follow the same schedule as the garbage collection but will have a Saturday pick-up in addition to the schedule.

? Slater Senior Citizens Center will be closed Thanksgiving Day and Friday following, November 26 and 27. Opening on a regular schedule on Monday, November 30, 2015.

All offices and services will operate on a normal business schedule on Monday, November 30, 2015.

All emergency services will remain open 24/7 through-out the holiday period.
