[ARCHIVED] City to begin water line upgrades in Old Jonesboro Road area

The City of Bristol Tennessee will soon begin upgrading existing water lines along Old Jonesboro Road from Chatham Road to Colooney Circle. The project is anticipated to conclude by the end of June 2016, weather permitting.

City crews will make every effort to minimize inconveniences during the construction period and will restore all disturbed areas to their original condition. In the interest of safety, please avoid entering the construction area, be alert for moving heavy equipment, and discourage children from playing in these areas.

Traffic disruptions, including temporary road closures, may be required during the project. However, accommodations will always be made to allow access to property within the construction zone.

Should you have questions or concerns during the construction period, you may contact Jacob Chandler at 423-989-5585. In addition, Don Venable, Utility Construction Superintendent, will be on site daily and will assist with any questions citizens may have during construction.
