Registration is open for boys and girls seeking to play in the Bristol Tennessee Parks and Recreation Department’s NFL Flag Football league. Teams within the league consist of 10 players and will play in divisions separated into 1st & 2nd, 3rd & 4th, 5th & 6th, and 7th & 8th grade levels. Players can register as individuals and be assigned to a team, or groups can register together as a team. Teams may be co-ed.
To register, players should visit bristoltn.recdesk.com where an account will need to be created for each person playing. From there, registration can be accessed by clicking on Programs, then the appropriate age division. Early registration is open through August 19, with late registration being available until August 30. Registration assistance is also available at the Slater Center at 325 McDowell Street on Mondays and Tuesdays from 3:30p – 7:30p through August 30. The fee is $50 per player for early registration and $60 for late registrants. An additional $10 fee will apply for players who live outside of the City of Bristol, Tennessee. All registrations include an official NFL jersey.
A parent meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 30 at 6:00p, and the season will run from September 17 through October 29. Games will be played on Saturdays at Whitetop Creek Park.
