The season for concerts is about to hit its crescendo. Downtown is leading up to Battle of Bristol Weekend featuring the Chesney concert and, of course, the annual Rhythm and Roots festival.
The annual Full Moon Jam concert series will be hitting its final high note of the season Thursday, August 25 at the Downtown Center. The Midnight Riders, a tribute to the Allman Brothers band, will be paying homage to the band’s early years and all their classic songs. The concert begins at 7 p.m. and is free to the public. The Midnight Riders consist of seasoned road and Music Row veterans. “They bring the same passion and artistry of the original Allman Brothers lineup to every show they do,” said Angie Rutherford, of the city’s Office of Community Relations. “We invite everyone to come out and hear this music, they are exceptional in their vocals, and they will not be a disappointment.”
The Downtown Center is located in the heart of historic downtown Bristol at 810 State Street. Free parking is available in both Shelby Street parking lots and on State Street.
