The Full Moon Jam’s evening concert was not scheduled for this Thursday, September 15, in order to allow Rhythm and Roots organizers to prepare the venue for the upcoming festival. “The remainder of series will continue as planned, with the Thursday evening concerts resuming September 22 and 29 featuring Wyldeheart and Southern 76 respectively. To date, a little over 10,000 persons have attended the series,” said Bristol’s Community Relations official Angie Rutherford.
The Full Moon Jam concert series officially began in 1996 and is celebrating its 20th year. The concerts are hosted at the Downtown Center located at 810 State Street. The series features country, blue grass and southern rock bands from throughout the region and was introduced to underscore and highlight the enormous talent pool in our immediate area.
The series is supported by the City of Bristol Tennessee and sponsored by the Bristol Herald Courier and 98.5 WTFM. There is no charge to the public to attend.
