[ARCHIVED] 11/16/16 Most City of Bristol Tennessee offices closed for Thanksgiving

Most of the City of Bristol, Tennessee offices, including City Hall and other non-emergency City operations, will be closed Thursday, November 24 and Friday, November 25 in observance of Thanksgiving. Police, fire and rescue services for life-threatening or in-progress emergencies may be reached by calling 9-1-1. Non-emergency problems or concerns may be directed to 423-989-5600. Residents are asked to take note of the following changes in other City services and programs.

The Public Works Department will be closed on Thursday, November 24. Regular Thursday collection for all curbside services including garbage, yard waste, and bulk items, will take place on Wednesday, November 23.

The Bristol Tennessee Transit and Para transit will be closed on Thursday, November 24 and Friday, November 25. Normal operating hours and schedule will return on Monday, November 28. The Job Access will be closed on Thursday, November 24 but will resume a regular operating schedule on Friday, November 25 and Saturday, November 26.

Bristol Parks and Recreation Administrative offices and Slater Center will be closed on Thursday, November 24 and Friday, November 25. All parks will be open during the normal operating hours. The Administrative offices and Slater Center will reopen under its normal schedule on Monday, November 28. For more information on the parks and recreation schedule please call 423-764-4023.
