[ARCHIVED] 11/29/16 Emergency supplies needed to assist families displaced by wildfires

The Bristol, Tennessee Fire Department is seeking immediate donations of emergency supplies, particularly bottled water, baby wipes, and blankets that will be sent to assist families who have been displaced by the ongoing wildfires near Gatlinburg and the surrounding areas of the Great Smoky Mountains. Donations may be dropped off at the Central Fire Station at 211 Bluff City Hwy, next to Haynesfield Elementary. Supplies will be continually delivered as needed to local aid agencies in the affected areas. Members of the Bristol, Tennessee Fire Department have also been dispatched to aid in the efforts to contain the blaze.
