[ARCHIVED] 1-17-17 City’s Employee Health & Wellness Clinic opens

Today the City of Bristol, Tennessee held a Grand Opening ribbon-cutting event at the new CareHere Employee Health &Wellness Clinic. The new facility will provide access to primary and preventive healthcare to the City of Bristol employees and their dependents, covered by the City’s health plan.  The new CareHere Employee Health and Wellness Clinic is the launch of a collaborative partnership by the City of Bristol, Tennessee and Tennessee-based industry pioneer, CareHere. “We are very eager to get our employees into see the facility and participate in the new program.  Our employees are our greatest asset and the new clinic should help improve the health and care of those individuals.  It should also reduce future costs of health care for them,” said Bill Sorah, City Manager.  


“The new clinic will not only help our employees to get the care they need to lead healthier lives, but will help with health related absenteeism,” said Mayor Chad Keen.

CareHere will oversee and manage the operations of the facility. Patients may schedule appointment online or over the phone. Appointments are never double-booked, so the wait time is on average, less than two minutes.

Our providers and wellness coaches are committed to the care of each of our patients by spending quality time with them in order to provide the optimal service with enthusiasm and compassion,” stated Dr. Anthony Dallas, CareHere Medical Director.


The CareHere Employee Health & Wellness Clinic is located at 260 Midway Street, Suite 2G, Bristol, Tennessee. 


A Grand Opening ribbon cutting was held today for government officials and staff.  Mary Lee Williams, Director of Administration who shepherded the project from its origination, stated that she was beyond thrilled with the end result of the project and what it would mean to the city workforce.
