[ARCHIVED] 05/25/17 City offices closed in observance of Memorial Day

Most City of Bristol offices and operations will be closed in observance of Memorial Day on Monday, May 29, 2017.  All offices will re-open on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 for normal business hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.  Bristol residents are asked to please make note of the changes in operations below:

  • Garbage collection normally scheduled for Monday, May 29 will be collected on Wednesday, May 31.
  • Transit busses will not operate on Monday, May 29 but will resume their normal schedule on Tuesday, May 30.
  • Job Access will be operational on Monday, May 29. If transportation is needed please contact the Job Access number (423-989-5586) for an appointment. Your call will be answered by an automated attendant, at the prompt press 1 and leave a message.
  • The City’s emergency services will operate on their normal 24/7 schedule.
