The Bristol Tennessee City Council will have a Public Hearing on Ordinance 17-4 to exceed the certified property tax rate for Fiscal Year 2018 at their regular meeting on September 5, 2017, at 7:00 p.m., in the Auditorium of the Slater Center, 125 McDowell Street, Bristol, Tennessee. The certified tax rate as defined by T.C.A. §67-5-1701 is $2.1612 on each $100.00 of taxable property. The proposed City Tax Rate for Fiscal 2018, if adopted, is $2.25 on each $100.00 of taxable property.
