On March 23, 2018, at 2356, officers from the Bristol Tennessee Police Department were at 918 Georgia Avenue in Bristol, TN serving an arrest warrant. Officers located the person of interest for the warrant, and during the arrest were forced to defended themselves. The suspect and one officer were injured and transported to the Bristol Regional Medical Center.
The incident has been turned over to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation these types of incidents. Any other inquiries should be directed to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
