City crews will be installing a water line across W. State Street in the 2600 block between Carson Lane and Sycamore Drive beginning July 23, 2018. Construction will begin at approximately 6:00 pm each day and will conclude the next morning at approximately 6:30 am. The installation of the new water line will require temporary lane closures. Please be aware that steel plates will be in the street during the day. The project is anticipated to conclude by August 3, 2018, weather permitting.
During the construction period, it is suggested that motorists use alternative routes. In the interest of safety, please avoid entering the construction area, be alert for moving heavy equipment, and discourage children from playing in these areas.
Traffic disruptions, including temporary lane closures, will be required during the project. However, accommodations will always be made to allow access to property within the construction zone.
