Downtown Bristol will be filled with the music of Hank Williams Jr. on Thursday as All My Rowdy Friends, a tribute band featuring front man Frank Morrow, performs during the Sounds of Summer series presented by the Bristol, Tennessee Department of Parks and Recreation.
The concert will begin at 7 p.m. at Downtown Center. In the event of rain, the event will be moved to Paramount Bristol. The show is free for everyone.
The band has been touring the U.S. since 2009, keeping the music of Hank Jr. alive with the same high energy as the original artist. Based in eastern North Carolina, All My Rowdy Friends has a nationwide fan base and has opened for headliners including The Black Hawks, LoCash, and Aaron Tippin.
The concert series continues through September, with free concerts each Tuesday and Thursday at Downtown Center. For the complete concert schedule, please go to www.bristoltn.org/sounds.
