[ARCHIVED] Most City of Bristol Tennessee offices closed Christmas Eve, Christmas Day

Holiday closuries

In observance of Christmas, most City of Bristol, Tennessee offices will be closed Tuesday, Dec. 24, and Wednesday, Dec. 25. All city offices will reopen at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 26.

  • There will be no change in emergency services provided by the City’s police and fire departments. Residents should call 9-1-1 in emergencies or (423) 989-5600 to reach a police dispatcher in non-emergency situations.
  • There will be no change in refuse collection services.
  • The City’s Transit, Job Access, and Para-transit buses will not run on Tuesday or Wednesday, Dec. 24 or Dec. 25, but will resume normal services on Thursday, Dec. 26.

Residents are encouraged to recycle during the holiday season. Holiday paper, including wrapping paper (non-metallic only), cardboard boxes, and greeting cards may be placed in the recycling bins.  Visit http://bristoltn.org/1008/Recycling-Services  for locations of recycling bins.

Those who have requests for services while offices are closed are encouraged to complete an online service request by visiting the City’s website at www.bristoltn.org and clicking on the Request Tracker icon at the top of the page. All requests for City services will be addressed the next business day.
