The New Year is a new opportunity to recognize City employees who go above and beyond to provide excellent public service through the Bristol First program.

Established in 2014, this special award program allows community members to nominate employees of the City of Bristol, Tennessee for a job well done. All nominations are then evaluated based on a long list of selection criteria, include service to the public, leadership, service to other City employees, and efficiency, creativity, and inventiveness. The selection committee is especially interested in those employees who make great strides to enhance the image of the City and relationships with the public.
