[ARCHIVED] Two evening fitness classes planned at Slater Community Center

Registration is now underway for two evening fitness courses that will be offered by the Bristol, Tennessee Department of Parks and Recreation this summer at Slater Community Center.

 Body Sculpt, a low-impact class with a focus on strength and toning for the entire body will be offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30 p.m.  Classes will begin June 1 and will be taught by Taffie Barb. The cost is $30. Weights & More will be offered Mondays at 6:15 p.m. beginning June 7. Becky Olinger will teach this low-impact class that includes a mixture of weight training and low impact aerobics. The cost for this class is $20.

 To register for these classes, please go to bristoltn.recdesk.com or stop by the Slater Community Center at 325 McDowell Street. Business hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. At least 6 participants must register before the classes can be offered.

 To ensure the safety of staff members and participants, no food or drinks except water bottles will be allowed inside the building.
