Community members are encouraged to attend an Oct. 13 celebration designed to showcase the Bristol Tennessee Transit System as both a convenient and cost-effective travel method.
Transit Appreciation Day will be held at Downtown Center from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to recognize the City’s transit drivers and those who are frequent passengers, and to encourage others to try the transit. All rides aboard the Bristol Tennessee Transit will be free that day. The celebration will also include a free lunch featuring hamburgers and hotdogs, door prizes, and live music.
The Bristol Tennessee Transit offers fixed-route service from 6:15 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. The cost is 60 cents for adults, but discounts are available for seniors and those with disabilities. Children under the age of 6 ride free.
